It worked straight away for my purpose, one of those cheaper corded gaming headsets that Steel Series makes with a 3.5mm jack to use on a PC. No issues at all, Windows 11 immediately recognized it both on the input and output. Zero loss in audio quality for either. The only reason you might want to get a different one, is if you want the adapter to also serve as an extension cable. It’s short, and just does its job.
