At the time of this review I found that these are the best value mount adapters available on amazon. The mounts are sturdy and hold to their tightened positions. I bought two 2-packs, and for under $20 in total it was a steal. I use 3 of my mount adapters for webcam lighting at my desk. Once installed I never have had to touch them again. The last adapter I use for my camera. It’s done well and I have had no issues since purchase.

They seem sturdy enough and hold, however, the ball heads themselves showed signs of rust, I think it was in the warehouse for too long or wasn’t oiled enough.Also not smooth action on the balls probably do to the rust.For the price they are alright, solid construction. One knob controls both ball and base rotation btw so be careful when repositioning, hold on to the item/camera beforehand.Also the shoe adapter can be tighten.

I took a gamble buying about the cheapest ball head on Amazon but I’m more than satisfied with them. Quality metal construction that feels precision though the thumbwheels and the knob for the ball lock are plastic as is the hot-shoe adapter. I don’t see much utility in using a ball head to hold a flash so everything I need out of a ball head is covered more than adequately. I like the fact that it is fairly low profile instead of long and skinny as well. (I know, That’s what she said.) Anyway, overall a great buy when purchased at $5 each, I’m ordering a couple of more sets because they’re cheap enough to spread around, like reading glasses. One pair for every room.
