This is a great tool for getting a perfectly level tripod head without having to adjust the feet of the tripod bit by bit. We use this on the tripod with a ball head as it’s tricky to move those just a little at a time. Loosen the red lock knobs, use the guide they provide you to get the head level, then tighten the red knobs again. Done! The screws (male and female) fits normal tripods, and this is a solid piece of equipment. Note that it is not light, but very solid. If you want a super-light travel tripod, don’t use this, but count on leveling your pictures when you get home and count on panoramas not fitting properly.
