As far as the microphone it is not the best quality, but it sounds better than a dollar tree microphone.

This headset has no battery or really and extra features, the microphone auto mutes itself if you stand it upright on the headset which I find to be really quite amazing. It does not have a mute button so, I was worried it would forever have the microphone on, but it was a pleasant surprise to find if i didnt pull the microphone down to my mouth from its resting position, it was auto muted. It only has a volume dial on the same earpiece as the microphone sits behind the left ear. Great sound quality anf amazing clarity both from the microphonw and earpieces. 1, 3.5mm audio jack that works with just about any controller, definately would purchase again in the future! Ty for providing such a great entertainment and communication piece, real in-game life saver!! Not only that, its at the beat price I’ve ever purchased such a headset.
