I was in need of an upgrade due to the age of my existing router and also due to end of life support and it’s wifi capabilities. I was using the RT-N66U, which has been a great router. On to this model, outside of having to redo port forwarding profiles using the drop down menu options due to not initially working which were done manually before deploying, the router has performed at my expectations. Keeping the user interface consistent from one model/upgrade to the next streamlines any modifications needed seamlessly. I had to disable wifi6 mode on incompatible devices (no drivers/upgrade available yet) in order for them to connect to the 2ghz wifi, but the 5ghz devices are sycn’d up with excellent signal strength. I haven’t taken advantage of the 2.5 gig WAN port yet as I’m still on gbit speeds from my ISP, but someday, I will move to that service and see how the performance is. So far, I’m very happy with my purchase.

Works great! Lots of flexibility in the user interface. Such as (for one), I live in an densely populated apartment complex, and don’t need (or want) that much range. The Radio Transmitter Power is “easily” adjustable in both frequency bands. Reliable unit. Has special options for gaming including identifying individual games, and mobile games as well. Much, much more. Great unit. Highly recommend.

Very good Lil complicated to det up perfectly or through the different modes like daul wan to wan aggregation to game mode and etc my ps4 set game mode but turns game mode off and won’t go back on game mode other than that drops from 400-500mbs instead of staying at 800-900mbs but way better router than isp router
